Extraction Business Course

Creating CEOs

Extraction - concentrates, flower and edibles growth in Colorado, Washington and Oregon has been strong ever since recreational marijuana since legalization. One category, concentrates, tends to win the growth category every year, according to data from cannabis market research firm BDS Analytics.

Extraction Business Course is designed to provide attendees with relevant information, insights and do’s and don’ts from experienced successful extraction company owners. Our mission is to give women the knowledge, resources and opportunities to build financially stable businesses within the cannabis and hemp industry. Classes are small to facilitate more personal education and interaction between instructors and attendees. All classes, meals, and networking are held at the Pueblo Convention Center in downtown Pueblo, Colorado.

The city of Pueblo is an example of how cannabis-centric and hemp businesses can have a positive economic impact. The cannabis and hemp industry has revitalized the community and improved the quality of life. The Colorado State University - Pueblo has added the Institute of Cannabis Research. ICR has evolved into a highly-regarded research facility.  Approximately $750,000 in funding was available in 2018 to graduating Pueblo seniors attending a local college or university through Pueblo County's cannabis-tax funded scholarship. 600 scholarships were awarded.

Over 40% of all cannabis grown in Colorado comes from the cultivation facilities and farms in this area giving attendees the opportunity to tour extraction companies and dispensaries.
