Carla Boyd Hemp Way FoodsCarla Boyd is the Founder, CEO and product developer of Hemp Way Foods, a hemp-based food production company

Carla’s involvement began in early 2009, serving on the board of the Mile-High Denver NORML chapter until 2012. During this time, she also consulted with several dispensaries with a marketing/sales focus & events coordinator for Hemp Cleans, a statewide Colorado educational campaign.

By the end of her second year in business, she was widely-acclaimed in the health food industry being featured in publications such as the Denver Post & The Hemp Connoisseur Magazine, as well as having earned accolades for taste, winning taste test challenges such as “Best Colorado Hemp Food” in 2016, 2018, and 2019. 

In 2015, her company received “Best Hemp Product/Facilitated by “The Cannabis Business Awards.  She again won in 2016 for “Best Colorado Hemp Food” by the Industrial Hemp Awards.  She just became back-to-back winners at the 2018 and 2019 Grow Hemp Colorado Indo Expo Events as the “Best Hemp Food Company”. 

Her recent highlights include an appointment to the Leadership Counsel for the National Small Business Association. Hemp Way Foods has been featured in various regional publications, most notably the Denver Post & the Hemp Connoisseur Magazine, making the Hemp Connoisseur Spring 2018 “100 People You Should Know”.  Carla was also a featured contributor to the “VegFest Cookbook” published in 2017.

Bethany MooreBethany Moore is the Deputy Director of Communications for the National Association of Cannabis Association, NCIA is the largest trade association in the cannabis sector. 

Bethany Moore is the Host of The Cannabis Industry Voice podcast, a weekly podcast featuring industry entrepreneurs sharing their experiences, challenges and successes. She is also the host of NCIA Today Live, interviewing NCIA members across the country for insights into the cannabis industry in their respective states. 

As the host of NCIA Today and Cannabis Industry Voice,  Bethany has an unique perspective and insights into all aspects of the national cannabis industry. 

Her education and career encompasses communication, media production and project management, broadcasting and publishing. Bethany has used her skill set to manage blog articles, newsletters, video projects, industry reports, as well as, building campaigns for nonprofits and special interest groups.

New opportunities are continually developing within the cannabis industry.

Sheva PekarSheva Pekar is the founder, CEO and visionary of PsyCann Advisors, a company dedicated to the entrepreneurs in growing and visionary industries. PsyCann Advisors offers a full spectrum of custom cannabis and psychedelics business services.

Sheva has 6 years of strategic experience in the cannabis industry with state-licensed facilities in all facets of their business and 3 years of behind the scene psychedelic industry work that exploded from Denver Colorado. She has a versatile and service-minded approach advocating for her clients.

Her experience includes business development, project management, inventory management, SOP development, business plan development, wholesale, client advocacy, metrc and compliance support and licensing and application help.

Her approach to cannabis and psychedelic industries is rooted in an infinite-minded leadership model of trust and confidence gained from clients and colleagues.

Sheva Pekar, is the instructor for the Entering the Emerging Psychedelics and Psilocybin Market Workshop offered through the Women’s Cannabis Chamber of Commerce.

Both psychedelics and cannabis are burgeoning and blooming and there is so much growth potential and opportunity for any and all who know what it takes and who to ask to get them there.
