Becca J. McAlpin, MA, MNM is the Alabama State Ambassador for the Women’s Cannabis Chamber of Commerce (WCCC). Becca serves as a champion and consultant to provide resources, guidance and support for expansion of the Cannabis industry in the state. She employs a strategic approach to produce action, generate results and foster long-term business relationships.
Before moving to Alabama, Becca saw an opportunity to break into the industry and launched her own CBD business as a Wellness Advocate with Green Compass. She uses the firm’s products and technology platform to drive sales, income, growth and profitability. She is happy to have found a flexible career that serves as an outlet for her enterprising spirit.
Becca stands at the forefront of this new and burgeoning investment opportunity, one she envisioned long before it reached a critical mass. She is thrilled to be an evangelist for others in Alabama who may be contemplating a career as a Cannabis or Hemp entrepreneur. Considered a subject matter expert among her professional colleagues, Becca draws from her accomplishments to instruct others in finding financial success at all stages of business development and growth. She is especially focused on economic empowerment and investing back into the community.
Embracing a cultural change is a critical element of Becca’s role, and she encourages people to make responsible Cannabis use the foundation for their holistic, integrated health. She delivers consumer education to create a more complete and better understanding of the benefits of Cannabis and the many ways in which individuals and their families can begin a personal wellness journey.
Becca is a walking testimonial to medicinal Cannabis’ application in treating postpartum depression, anxiety and degenerative arthritis. She has found it to have a positive impact on the endocannabinoid system of her family and their pets.
More importantly, Becca is intent on dispelling the stigma about this complex plant and its various molecular components. She spends considerable time educating people on the difference between THC, the compound which is what marijuana is infamous for, and Cannabidiol (CBD), which is derived from hemp and contains no psychoactive properties. By law, CBD must contain less than 3% THC and is most often delivered via oils, topical products and extracts.
Becca is a sought-after resource and a featured Educator/Speaker for the Secure Your Success Course Series presented by the WCCC. She originated the TheCannaBossMom.com blog more than two years ago and keeps her thumb on the pulse of research and trends in the industry.
